On November 16, interested students, along with Phillip Winklosky, chair of the project, Brandon Brezinski, co-chair and Mr. Campbell, watched as Roger Frye combined the field located beside the Grandview Elementary School parking lot.  This is the fourth year for the project and Roger had been kind enough to plant and harvest the field for the FFA.  Ted Kukuck, a representative of Pioneer Seed Company, was on hand to give a demonstration on two ways to compute approximately how many bushels of shelled corn per acre would be harvested.  The old style of measuring a length of the field and picking the ears and second by using a weight wagon.  Pioneer Seed has graciously donated the seed corn each year.  A big thank you to Roger and Ted for all their help over the years with this project.
